She knows the alley ways, the secret ways, coming and going like a ghost.
She leads a stressful life, full of danger and excitement. It takes its toll.
She surveys her kingdom, sometimes haughty, sometimes reflective…
She has a softer side, too, though, on her terms.
Sometimes she is a loner, looking from the outside in…
Sometimes she is a clown…
But she is always our ‘hood cat….and she is always loved.
