Braving the harshest of conditions,
Amidst rocky soil,
Turbulent storms and blistering sun,
And still a flower grew.
Lifting her petals to the sky,
Reaching for the light,
Sharing her beauty,
Until her last petal danced to the earth.
Even then, she smiled
For the gift of a life well-lived.
