The View from Here

I wish for skies of blue

And stars twinkling bright in the night sky. 

I wish for moments of beauty

And comfort in times of sadness. 

I wish for laughter,

The kind that makes tears roll down my face

And someone to wipe those tears when they come from heartache. 

I wish for strength in dark times

And softness for those in need. 

I wish for music to soothe my soul,

And words to inspire and encourage. 

I wish for a open heart with a long memory,
