Or through me;
See me.
See my courage,
My gentle heart,
My hopes and dreams.
See my devotion, my love.
See my flaws, my failures,
My joys, my sorrows,
My fears.
Each piece, the indelible fabric of my soul.
If you don’t see all of me,
Each thread of my complex tapestry,
You see only a shadow.
** I took this photo during a trip to Rome.
What was the statue called?
I’m so sorry- I don’t know. I will do some research and see if I can find it. It was on a bridge that we crossed.
I found it! It is ‘The Kiss’, Piazza Venezia, Rome. There are so many wonderful statues there – and I took hundreds of photos. Thanks for asking about it!
P.S. It’s from a sculpture group called “Sacrifice” created in 1911 by Leonardo Bistolfi, at Rome’s Vittoriano. It wasn’t on a bridge as I had remembered. I’ve had fun looking back to find it. :))
