There’s nothing like a dog at your side,
To whom you tell what to others you hide.
Their fur holds our tears,
They lessen our fears,
Soulful eyes let us always confide.
I don’t know what I’d do without you,
Though sadly one day I’ll have to.
My heart then will break,
A part of it you’ll take,
An angel wrapped in fur, ever true blue.
This is dedicated to my sweet friend Kathy Dewez, who recently lost her soul dog, Tara. ❤️

Hugs, to all who know this bond, oh so well……..💜
Lovely, Denise….. 😻🐶💕
Thanks, Catherine. Such a special relationship. ❤️
The bond between pets and their people runs deep. It is a true heartache of our existence that the lifespan of most dogs is 10-14 years – so short a time compared to the decades for most people…
I so agree. Such beautiful spirits- I wish they could share our lives much, much longer. ❤️
